ICE GLOW TRAY Acrylic Tray: The Acrylic Tray is shipped with a removable plastic plus in the drain hole, located as shown. When using the tray for short periods of time, the plug may be left in place to stop the flow of water. Water must be removed periodically to prevent an overflow. Dip out water & ice to empty tray. Never lift tray when loaded with ice. Under normal conditions, one loading of ice should last 8 hours. Do not allow water to accumulate more than 2 inches in tray! Trays may be stored by stacking upside down. Drain Kit: The drain kit included with your tray allows an easy & direct method for removing water from the ice tray. The drain kit should contain the following items:
How to Drain Tray: 1. Remove plastic plug from drain hole. 2. Attach tubing over tapered center nipple of drain fitting located at the end of tray (underneath wide lip). 3. Slide tubing through hose clamp & position the clamp at a convenient point. 4. Drain accumulated water into another container, which may be stored under the serving table, out of sight. Ice will last longer if water is removed instead of allowing it to accumulate. 5. After the tray has been sufficiently drained, squeeze the clamp to lock. This will stop the flow of water & the collection container may be emptied. Color Panels: Create interesting effects using the color panels included with the light box. Red. Blue, & Yellow acetate films are provided. When placed on top of the light panel, beneath the tray, the ice reflects the color. Combine Red & Yellow to make Orange, or Blue & Yellow to make Green, or Red & Blue to make Purple. Care & Cleaning: Use soap & water, but do not use ammonia or alcohol. Clean with a soft, dampened cloth. Never use paper towels, as they will scratch the surface. |
