HOT DOG ROTISSERIE

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Fill the water pan with water. This will keep the buns moist and warm. Use hot water to speed the process.

2. Place buns in bun warmer basket. (Some buns because of their texture collect more moisture than others).

3. Place the hot dogs on the rotisserie.

4. When ready to start cooking, move toggle switch to “ON” position. This will start the rotisserie and light the bulb behind the silk-screened sign.

5. The time required to broil the hotdogs will vary, depending upon the size and temperature of the hotdogs when placed in the DOGEROO.

With the heat control set on “HI” and using average size hot dogs, it will take from 10-15 minutes to have the dogs ready for serving. Watch the dogs carefully the first several times you cook to avoid blistering or burning them.

After the hot dogs are cooked, reduce the heat control setting to one, which will keep the dogs at the desired serving temperature. Hot dogs can be kept on the rotisserie for several hours without shriveling or loss of flavor, if the heat control is set low enough.

CARE AND CLEANING:

CAUTION: UNPLUG YOUR MACHINE BEFORE CLEANING.

1. Disconnect power supply cord. Be sure unit has cooled sufficiently to permit safe handling.

2. Remove condensate pan and basket from warmer.

3. Remove door from bun warmer by sliding pivot pin to left or right to disengage.

4. Lift warmer from top of unit. Lift out water pan from top frame assembly.

5. Remove hitch pin and disengage rotisserie shaft from drive shaft. Lift left end of rotisserie from end support.

6. Lift top frame assembly from corner posts. This assembly must be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE THE TOP FRAME ASSEMBLY IN WATER.

7. Lift out drop tray. Slide front and side glass up in slots in corner posts to remove from unit. CAUTION: HANDLE GLASS WITH CARE TO AVOID CUTTING YOURSELF.

8. All parts EXCEPT TOP FRAME ASSEMBLY may be immersed or flooded with water for cleaning. Use a cleaner/sanitizer. Wipe all parts dry.

9. Reassemble in reverse order.

CONTROLS:

ON-OFF SWITCH: Flipping the lever of this switch to the “ON” position will energize the drive motor, which rotates the rotisserie. It also lights the 40-Watt bulb behind the front glass and completes the circuit to the heat control.

HEAT CONTROL: The infinite heat control allows you to vary the operating temperature of the heating element. When this control is in any position other than “OFF,” the red pilot light will be on. With control set at “HI” position, the heating element is energized continually. At all other positions between HI and LO, the heating element cycles on and off thus controlling the temperature.
