Planning a Business Gathering

In business, it's important that your presentations, meetings and conferences look like you mean business. A sloppy event makes your company look unprofessional, even though that's not truly the case. So whether you're an employee trying to plan it right (and impress the boss), or you're the boss trying to show everyone how it's done, you need to consider how renting can help.

And it can...in some surprising ways. In fact, renting for business is something many people have never considered. But, in my experience, those who have tried it and discovered the convenience and economy of renting never forget it. After all, business is about making money, and if you have to waste a lot of cash buying things you only need temporarily, you're just not making good business sense. First, consult one of our event planners. We'll ask smart questions and give even smarter advice to make sure things go smoothly. Is this event a small meeting or a large conference? Will presentations be made? Food served? And our experience helps us suggest things you hadn't even considered. Like what about seating arrangements?

A planner can work through the specifics with you, but I'll give you some things to chew on: For a large conference setting, consider staging (for a raised platform), a lectern and a P.A. system. We have hundreds and hundreds of comfortable folding chairs, so your meeting doesn't have to feature "standing room only."

If your gathering will feature round table type discussions, as opposed to rows of chairs, we're your source for round tables, and sqaure and rectangluar ones, too.

Slick presentations start with the right kind of equipment. Audio/visual presentations can be conducted with rented slide machines, projectors, screens, or TV/VCRs.

Food service is another important consideration if your meeting will extend into a meal time. Or even just for appetizers. Will your lunch or dinner be buffet or sit down? Hot or cold? Choose from purely practical to very elegant equipment. For buffet service, we have items such as chafing dishes to keep hot food hot. We also have beverage fountains, punch bowls, coffee makers - you name it and we probably carry it.

Beyond equipment for serving the food, we offer full place settings, as well. You can get plates, silverware, glasses, coffee cups, saucers and more. Tablecloths or linens will give your event appeal.
